I guess that there really is something to the saying "build it and they will come." The goldfinch was back at the feeder tonight. Took this one through the glass door.

I think this is a wood thrush. It has really been hard to get a photo of this bird. It's like the bird doesn't want their photo taken.

The rhododendron buds are beginning to open. We set another record high today of 90. The forecast for Friday is for the upper 30's and lower 40's, a 50 degree swing in temperatures. I can hardly wait.

Day 115 - 24 April 2012
I need one of these trees at home, it probably had several dozen butterflies on it. This was outside my office building. Show's that people don't slow down and look at the world around. You would be suprised how many people stopped and asked what I was taking photos of.

We saw our first gold finch in our back yard yesterday. We are trying to bribe him into coming back.
